Zodwa Wabantu wants to do the ‘Vosho’ with The Queen’s Petronella

Following a mention of her on Monday night’s episode, the socialite has reached out to the Fergusons saying she would love to secure a role on the show.

Socialite and dancer, Zodwa Wabantu has reached out to Connie and Shona Ferguson for an appearance on their hit television drama The Queen. This comes after one of the characters on the show made mention of Zodwa Wabantu and her dancing; Zodwa then took to Instagram to post a clip of the scene and tag the Fergusons, saying she is ready to learn about acting.

“@thembsiematu @ferguson_films @connie_ferguson The Queen my lady Connie. I was watching. I want to learn about acting. I like TV, I want to be on TV. Show me the doors for auditions 2019 please. I’m ready Zodwa Wabantu, yes I will learn. Dream awake, Ngiphupha ngivukile mina. Voshooo to TV. I stay everywhere, Durban & Johannesburg,” the socialite captioned.

She went on to say that she was surprised that the legendary Connie Ferguson even knows her name and hopes they would be willing to create a role for her on the show. Her ideal role would see her partying and dancing alongside Petronella, the role played by Thembsie Matu.

“I want to be on the streets in eKasi, a bubbly person that is living their life and filled with drama. Maybe there will be alcohol and lots of different clothing. It must reflect who I am. I will dance with Petronella. I like her. I feel like we will get along even off screen,” she added.

The controversial dancer previously appeared on SABC 1’s telenovela Uzalo.
