K-pop act, WINNER (위너) will drop their second official full-length album next month.
On Thursday, 15 March, WINNER’s management agency, YG Entertainment, announced that on Wednesday, 4 April, the boy band will drop its second full-length album.
It is a good news for fans, since the upcoming album marks the WINNER’s comeback in 8 months since the release of their single album ‘Our Twenty For’ on 4 August 2017, with two singles, ‘Love Me Love Me’ and ‘Island’, but this is the first full album since “2014 S/S” in 2014.
“Since it will be an official album including multiple tracks, listeners will be able to hear WINNER’s diverse and upgraded musicality,” said YG Entertainment in a statement.
WINNER was formed in 2013, and debuted in 2014, with their debut album ‘2014 S/S’, which was released on 12 August, 2014, by the group’s record label, YG Entertainment.
The band’s previous hit ‘Really Really’ released in 2017, set the group’s unique musical tone and dominated music charts for over a month, setting a milestone by surpassing the 100 million stream mark, making the band the first ever male idol group in history to surpass 100 million streams, while keeping their ‘Chart-In’ status.
