Why did Logic and Jessica Andrea split up?

Logic has confirmed divorce rumours via social media.

Last week Friday, 20 April rapper Logic confirmed that he and Jessica Andrea have ended their relationship.

The news came as a shock to fans as the couple often post loving messages to each other over social media.

However, the last time they had posted anything of the themselves together was in January this year. Jessica Andrea posted a photograph of herself and Logic at the 2018 Grammy awards. She captioned the picture, “back at it again with my #1”. Jessica Andrea also posted a sweet message to the rapper in January, in celebration of his twenty-eighth birthday.

The rumour mill

Celebrity watchers have been speculating the status of Logic and Jessica’s relationship for the past few weeks due to their lack of social media posts together.

Rumours have been doing the rounds about the reason for the couples split. These rumours include cheating allegations and irreconcilable fights.

Why they went their separate ways

Amid these allegations, both Logic and Jessica Andrea posted a statement about their breakup. This is the statement:

“After two years of marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends. As entertainers, we have made every aspect of our lives public, yet we would appreciate your respect and privacy on this issue…At the same time, we would like to shut down the speculation and potential internet clickbait as to the ‘why’ in how this happened, or the ‘who might have done what to whom… It’s very simple: it just didn’t work out. There is no anger involved. No fighting, no cheating, no nothing. We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest of our lives…And to all the fans: don’t be sad. Be happy that we could peacefully end this chapter of our relationship, beginning a new one full of love and happiness. There will be no displays of anger or hatred that tear people apart; the public will not be made the choose sides. There are no sides, there is just us… Two people who loved each other in marriage and will continue to love each other for the rest of our lives.”

The post has been liked more than 900 000 times by Logic’s 4.9 million Instagram followers.
