South African production Love Lives Here premieres in local cinemas on Friday, 5 April 2019, featuring a host of local talent.
The romantic comedy, directed by Norman Maake, is set in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, and stars local media personality Thando Thabethe as the female lead.
The film tells the story of Zinhle Malinga, a modern South African woman with strong traditional values, who is constantly failing at finding true love. She encounters a slew of futile relationships but manages to keep her wants and needs sturdy when faced with different men.
After finding the person she deems worthy of her love, she quickly finds out they don’t share the same goal – sending her into a downward spiral.
The movie, which coined the tagline “Love, loyalty, friendship and family”, boasts a strong cast of South African favourites such as Nomalanga Shozi, Nyokabi Angela Gethaiga, Madhushan Singh, Lungile Radu, Andile Gumbi, Motlatsi Mafatshe and Paul Wench, to name a few.
Love Lives Here premieres on Friday, 5 April 2019, in selected cinemas.
