There is still no official word on the repercussions that Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams will face for her recent lunch with Mduduzi Manana; the lack of action did not surprise social media users.
On Tuesday, 7 April 2020, Mduduzi Manana and Minister of Communications, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams topped the trends list after an image of the two having lunch with Manana’s family at his residency was posted by him on social media. The lunch would have not been a problem if it were not for the 21-day national lockdown, which prohibits social gatherings and unnecessary travel. Following the since-deleted image resurfacing on Twitter, there were initial calls for action to be taken against the pair.
However, following the lacklustre response from the government, with President Cyril Ramaphosa’s office stating that it would have a talk with Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams, social media users were not surprised. Many users took to Twitter to draw comparisons between this incident and that of Minister Lindiwe Zulu’s alleged coronavirus-defiant video. Twitter users stated that Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams would most likely face the same consequences as Minister Zulu, which was none.

God did answer Stella's prayers. Not only did she have lamp chops which Manana during the lock down, she is also going have an ox tail with the president. Question is..if God is a loving God, why would he make only two women (Stella & the minister of small businesses) untachable? https://t.co/BA1Sc4ENRF

Nothing will happen to her, she's a member of the ruling kleptocracy. Just like Lindiwe Zulu. https://t.co/2AIf9cw668

Politicians don't respect #Lockdown regulations. We saw it with Minister Lindiwe Zulu, it has now happened again and this time by Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams. Ordinary Citizens are getting arrested for transgression of regulations while politicians are immune.

It's such riffraffs in govt such as Ndabeni, Lindiwe Zulu that will cost CR if he isn't careful. From assaulting journalists, 'taking' her hubby to Switzerland on taxpayers cash, & now breaking lockdown, Ndabeni has exposed herself as a misfit over & over
