Trump supporters troll Red Hen restaurants

Various restaurants registered under the name ‘The Red Hen’, have come under fire from social media commenters following the Sarah Sanders incident in Virginia

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant called ‘The Red Hen’, last Friday. The restaurant which is located in Lexington, Virginia allegedly asked Sanders to leave because she works for President Donald Trump. Following the incident, Trump supporters have rallied together over social media to harass restaurants under the same name.

President Trump has also taken to Twitter to address the incident. He tweeted yesterday, “The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors, and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!”

There are various restaurant outlets located across the United States under the name, ‘The Red Hen’. Trump supporters have assumed that these various outlets are related and are thus all responsible for the action taken by the one taken in Virginia. Many of these separate restaurants have responded to the backlash by insisting that they are private entities unrelated to the outlet in Virginia. Meanwhile, Anti-Trump allies have gathered in support of The Red Hen in Lexington for its decisive action.
