The Ranaka family will be back on screens on Thursday, 18 October 2018, in the second episode of their renewed family reality series on Mzansi Magic.
Season 3 of The Ranakas premiered on Thursday, 11 October on Mzansi Magic. Fans of the fun-spirited family were not left disappointed as they displayed their usual character antics for South African audiences.
The second episode of The Ranakas is set to air on Thursday, 18 October, at 20:00. Accordingly, Mzansi Magic released a teaser for the episode on their website earlier, writing, “It’s Ntate Ranaka’s 75th birthday and most of his kids have made other plans and Mama is letting them have it. Mama Ranaka and Mpumi both get their test results.”
Dineo Ranaka, actress and radio personality of the family, also shared a snippet of what to expect for the episode on her Instagram page. She posted a video clip of her mother, Mama Ranaka scolding her brother Ranaka Ranaka about not contributing to the family’s household expenses.
“And there they go again…Set your reminders for your fav’s tomorrow (Thursday) 8PM,” she captioned the video post.
Following the premier of the third season last Thursday, The Ranakas hashtag trended on social media platforms. Dineo Ranaka posted a thank you message to the show’s fans, writing, “You have no idea how much we appreciate the love!!!! Thank you, lovers!”
The Ranakas is a spin-off series of the highly successful VUZU AMP reality show, Dineo’s Diary starring Dineo Ranaka.
The series follows the family on their everyday trials and has been dubbed the South African version of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
