The Constitutional Review Committee has on Thursday 15 November 2018, adopted a report to amend Section 25 of the Constitution to allow Land Expropriation without compensation.

The motion to change Section 25 was set by the Economic Freedom Fighters’ Floyd Shivambu.

The Democratic Alliance’s Annelie Lotriet offered a different motion, saying the Constitution does not need to be adjusted as there is already provision for land reform.
