Eskom announced that Unit 3 of the Kusile Power Station Project was synchronised to the grid on Sunday and produced its first ever power on the same evening.
On Tuesday, 16 April 2019, Eskom announced on its website that the Kusile Power Station Project, situated near eMalahleni in Mpumalanga, had reached a new milestone on Sunday, 14 April 2019.
