Steenhuisen says DA must finish the job in NMB in speech at rally

Published on

DA leader, Steenhuisen, has called for Nelson Mandela Bay to go out and vote in order for the DA to successfully finish the job it started in 2016.

On Monday, 25 October 2021, the leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA), John Steenhuisen issued his speech delivered at the party’s We Can Win rally in Nelson Mandela Bay (NMB). This is in the run-up to the local government elections.

Steenhuisen stated that the decision South Africans make on Monday, 1 November 2021, will have a massive and direct impact on the lives of millions of South Africans. As a result, he is calling on the people of Nelson Mandela Bay to go out and vote so that the DA can finish the job that it started in 2016.

He also noted how becoming the biggest party in the metro in 2016, and the leading party in the governing coalition, allowed for the DA to grow and deliver its best performance in NMB by far. He further called for better than 2016, stressing that every single vote will be of critical importance.
