Spur Corporation announces passing of board member, Graeme Kiewitz

Spur Corporation has announced the recent passing of its board member and executive director, Graeme Kiewitz, who also served as the Group Human Resources Executive for the company.

Spur Corporation Limited released a statement on Tuesday, 19 January 2021, confirming the passing of its executive director and Group Human Resources Executive, Graeme Kiewitz. According to the statement, Kiewitz passed due to a COVID-19-related illness on Monday, 18 January 2021.

The statement read, “Graeme joined Spur Corporation in April 2019 and was appointed as an executive director in October 2020. He also served on the Board Risk Committee and Social, Ethics and Environmental Sustainability Committee. He was a highly accomplished human resources practitioner with extensive experience in transformation, empowerment, training and development. His passing leaves a huge void in the company and he will be sorely missed for his warmth, empathy, tenacity and loyalty.”

The statement did not go into detail on who will take over his responsibilities.
