New presenters have joined the SAfm team.
This past weekend, popular radio outlet SAfm, which is owned by the South African African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), announced that it would be presenting a new line-up as of today.
In a statement, the broadcaster said, “It is important to refresh, strengthen and rotate talent to ensure maximum output”.
The station also explains that the rotation of presenters is to ensure that the station remains relevant and profitable.
Stephen Grootes, Ernest Pillay, and Thabiso Mosia will be joining the SAfm team.
Stephen Grootes will be presenting #SAfmSunrise, weekdays from 6:00 – 9:00. The show, is according Safm, expected to be ‘hard-hitting, informative’ while easing listeners into the day ahead.
Ernest Pillay will host the afternoon show from 15:00 – 18:00.
Thabiso Mosia will present from 19:00 – 20:00 weekdays on the key sports matters of the day.
