Pop-star, Rihanna has taken to social media to tease fans with sultry pictures of her new lingerie range labelled Savage X Fenty.
The range which launches on 11 May 2018, is size and shade inclusive much to the delight of fans. Rihanna has periodically posted photographs of herself styled in her pieces in preparation for the launch.
On 6 May 2018, the pop-singer posed in a lacy black number for fan’s perusal. The post has been liked over 151 000 times on Twitter alone.
The Met Gala
Fans had also been waiting in anticipation for Rihanna’s Met Gala outfit reveal. In the run-up to the event many speculated over her possible outfit choices, but none could have anticipated the extent to which she would go to stand out from the crowd.
Rihanna arrived at the Gala, yesterday 7 May 2018 decked out in a heavily embellished custom-made John Galliano gown.
The gown spoke to the Gala’s 2018 theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and Catholic Imagination. It featured a papal inspired headdress and was resplendent with crosses.
Rihanna said in an interview that it would have been a ‘sin’ not to wear the show-stopping outfit.
Fans were divided over the outfit however. Some found it to be distasteful while others praised the look.
