MK veteran, Carl Niehaus has shared a statement from religious leaders who have gathered in support of Ace Magashule, calling for his case to be scrapped immediately.
uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) veteran, Carl Niehaus issued a statement on Thursday, 4 November 2021, by a group of religious leaders from across the country.
They had come together in Mangaung to support the African National Congress’ (ANC) Secretary-General (SG), Ace Magashule.
The religious leaders expressed their outrage that the case of Magashule has, once again, been postponed.
They further stated that they believe it is evident that the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has absolutely no case against Magashule, given the number of times it has been postponed.
The religious leaders also called it a travesty of justice to first arrest and charge someone, only to try and conjure up a case against the accused afterwards.
They are of the view that the case is solely politically motivated, and are thus calling for the case against Magashule to be scrapped immediately.
