PSL fixtures tonight, 2 October 2018

Absa Premiership matchday nine fixtures for Tuesday, 2 October 2018.

A busy week of PSL football begins tonight as eight teams battle for three points in Polokwane, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs each have an opportunity to dismantle Orlando Pirates from the top position as the Buccaneers only plays tomorrow evening.

Wits is a point behind Pirates and a win over the newly crowned MTN8 champions away in Cape Town will propel the Clever Boys to top spot, however, it will be a tricky game that could go either way. City could be in a hangover from the cup festivities or could be supremely confident.

Chiefs has a chance to climb to first spot for the first time this season as they take on a highly spirited Highlands Park. The newly promoted side has only lost one game in six and notably gets buoyed by its strong crowd in Tembisa.

SuperSport United, who currently sit two points off the top, could also claim top spot with a win over Polokwane City in Limpopo tonight.

Maritzburg United and AmaZulu meet for a chance to lift themselves to the top half of the table.

Here are all Absa Premiership fixtures for this evening:

Polokwane City v SuperSport United, Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane.

Highlands Park v Kaizer Chiefs, Makhulong Stadium, Johannesburg.

Cape Town City v Bidvest Wits, Cape Town Stadium.

AmaZulu v Maritzburg United, King Zwelithini Stadium, Durban.

All games will be kicking off at 19h30.
