PSL fixtures this weekend: Chiefs and Pirates on the road, Sundowns at home

Published on

Absa Premiership matchday ten fixtures Friday, 5 October to Sunday, 7 October 2018.

The tenth round of action in the PSL promises to be a tense one, with the two title rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits, locking horns on Sunday afternoon, 7 October 2018.

With Wits possibly dropping points against Sundowns, Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates could take advantage by climbing to top spots with wins over Polokwane City and AmaZulu respectively.

First up this evening, Maritzburg United will look to collect three points off Cape Town City in Pietermaritzburg. Both City and United are unexpectedly sitting on position 13 and 14.

Chippa United is picking up form under new coach Eric Tinkler, The Chilli Boys is unbeaten in its last three and could make it four against a spirited Highlands Park.

After a minor blip in August, SuperSport look very much back on track. Matsatsantsa visit Baroka on Sunday afternoon, 7 October 2018, who already look destined for the drop down to the National First Division.
