Prince Kaybee will play his first set as a resident DJ on Ukhozi FM on Friday, 5 April 2019.
News of Prince Kaybee signing a year-long residency contract with the biggest radio station in South Africa, Ukhozi FM, was officially confirmed on Friday, 29 March 2019. The Fetch Your Life DJ took to Twitter to confirm that he is now part of the Ukhozi FM family. He will play his first set this coming Friday, 5 April 2019.
Prince Kaybee shared how he has always wanted to be a part of the biggest radio station in South Africa. Ukhozi FM has over seven million listeners on a daily basis, and Prince Kaybee will be bringing his own fan base to the predominantly isiZulu station.
He shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, 3 April 2019, that he is the third most streamed artist on Joox. The DJ beat legendary South African DJ Black Coffee, American artist Khalid, and was only topped by rapper Cardi B and American pop sensation Ariana Grande.
Prince Kaybee’s set will be called The Royal Mix, which will be hosted every Friday morning from 11:00 to11:30. The mix will form part of popular host Dudu ‘Lady Dee’ Khoza’s show called Jabul’ujule, which is on from 9:00 until 12:00.
