Prince Kaybee surprised fans by releasing the official music video for ‘Banomoya’ a day earlier than expected on Thursday, 4 October 2018.
Prince Kaybee’s hit-single ‘Banomoya’ featuring Busiswa and TNS, managed to reach 1 million views on YouTube prior to having an official music video.
The DJ subsequently admitted that he felt the pressure to produce a high-quality music video that could live up to the hype over the summer club banger. Nevertheless, on 25 September, he invited his fans to join the music video shoot in Bloemfontein.
Then, on Thursday, 4 October, Prince Kaybee shared a post showing behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot. Fans lapped up the tit-bit, as they waited in anticipation for the full video to be released.
A short while later, the music video dropped. “Ok I lied about Friday, The Banomoya Video is out NOW!” Prince Kaybee excitedly wrote.
Both Busiswa and TNS make appearances in the music video. The narrative of the video sees Prince Kaybee’s character repeatedly turned down by a group of women whilst out at a club as the independence of these women takes the forefront.
