Phillip de Lange appointed ActionSA’s Executive Campaign Manager for Ekurhuleni

ActionSA has welcomed its newly appointed Executive Campaign Manager for Ekurhuleni, Phillip de Lange, who is determined to create a more inclusive and prosperous society for residents.

ActionSA announced the appointment of Phillip de Lange as the Ekurhuleni Executive Campaign Manager in a statement issued by John Moodey, ActionSA’s Gauteng Provincial Chairperson, on Thursday, 2 September 2021. The party noted de Lange’s appointment as a move towards delivering inclusive development and services to Ekurhuleni residents.

de Lange has been described as a seasoned activist and politician with a career spanning back to the early eighties. Some of his earlier positions include being Deputy Mayor of Alberton in 1995, becoming an Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Council member in 2011, and also serving in the Democratic Alliance (DA) caucus in the Ekurhuleni Council until September 2020.

In response, de Lange stated, “I have joined ActionSA because I want to be part of creating a more inclusive and prosperous society… delivering a government that truly cares for all residents.” ActionSA affirmed that it remains committed to delivering services and diverse leadership.
