PD Notepad to reveal more on Kim Ki-duk and Jo Jae-hyun’s accusations

PD Notepad (Hangeul: PD수첩) is seeking to reveal more dirt on alleged sexual harassment involving director Kim Ki-duk and actor Jo Jae-hyun.

In an upcoming episode that will be aired on Tuesday, 6 March, the investigative journalism program on MBC, PD Notepad, will make new revelations involving one of the two most prominent figures in Korea’s cinema industry.

Kim Ki-duk (김기덕) faces accusations of physical and sexual abuse by an actress he worked with in 2013. The actress came forward accusing the filmmaker of forcing her into an unwanted and unscripted sex and nude scenes and slapped her repeatedly while shooting the 2013 movie ‘Moebius’, before replacing her with another actress.

On 23 February, actor Jo Jae-hyun (조재현) was accused by actress Choi Yul (최율) of sexual harassment, allegations he admitted to in statement he issued one day later.

Tuesday’s episode of PD Notepad will also feature testimonies related to other acts of sexual harassment committed by the two celebrities, including their own side of the story.
