One actress claimed that while staying at the same motel during the shooting of a film, she was assaulted by Kim and Jo, adding that Jo’s manager as well attempted to assault her. The unnamed actress said, “(The three) knocked on the door of my room like hyenas every night. When I was alone, I was so scared that anyone might come to visit me.”
Another said while at a café, auditioning for an acting role, she had to endure humiliating sexual language from the director.
Also, the same actress that last year filled a complaint against Kim for hitting and insulting her, also revealed more detailed about the case. She claimed that the director kept asking that she have sex with him, and after she continuously rejected him, she got fired.
The filmmaker denied the sexual assault allegations on the show, saying he has never used his position as a movie director to satisfy his personal desire.
Cho argued that some of the recent series of sex assault revelations involving him are false. “There are so many claims that are distorted,” he said.
Meanwhile, before and after the show, Kim Ki-duk’s name and his work were trending in searches.
