Niehaus corroborates allegations of Rupert’s meddling in ANC in-fighting
Carl Niehaus took to Twitter to corroborate allegations of Johann Rupert’s meddling in the ANC’s in-fighting, following suggestions that he is amongst those calling for Magashule’s dismissal.
African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee (NEC) member, Carl Niehaus took to Twitter on Sunday, 28 March 2021, to corroborate allegations of Johann Rupert’s meddling in the operations of the ruling party. Niehaus’ post comes on the back of suggestions that Rupert is amongst those calling for the removal of the ANC’s Secretary-General, Ace Magashule.
Reports allege that Rupert had ordered ANC President, Cyril Ramaphosa to have Magashule step down, otherwise Ramaphosa would lose Rupert’s endorsement. This appears to corroborate the allegation of the continued in-fighting within the ruling party’s factions. Niehaus also referenced a statement of Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma lambasting Rupert for his suggestion that radical economic transformation means theft to highlight his point.
Niehaus first stated, “The attacks on me are a diversion. I am being used as a scapegoat. The real target is #RadicalEconomicTransformation (#RET). Sadly, there are some ANC NEC comrades who are fundamentally opposed to radical economic transformation (RET).”
See the post below.
The attacks on me are a diversion. I am being used as a scape goat. The real target is #RadicalEconomicTransformation (#RET). SADLY THERE ARE SOME @MYANC NEC COMRADES WHO ARE FUNDAMENTALLY OPPOSED TO RADICAL ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION (RET).

As events around #JohannRupert & the #StellenboschMafia unfold & their insidious influence become clearer & more disturbing by the day, these prophetic words by comrade @DlaminiZuma, are more relevant than ever!
Let's never forget Rupert leads, and instructs, the attack on #RET. pic.twitter.com/luJX0QwIDo
