Ndlozi: There is no vaccine rollout in South Africa

Published on

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter to suggest that the country does not have a vaccination rollout plan, further suggesting that the ruling party is colluding with colonisers.

Commissar of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter on Wednesday, 7 April 2021, to suggest that South Africa does not have a set rollout plan for the COVID-19 vaccine. In the post, he went on to suggest that his reasoning is based on how the ruling party has gone about acquiring the various vaccines, which are said to be mainly from European countries and “colonisers.”

Ndlozi went on to suggest that he would be more supportive of the rollout and acquisition of the various vaccines if they were acquired from BRICS countries instead of “colonisers.” The latest post paints a stark difference from Ndlozi’s initial stance on the vaccination rollout programme. Before the acquisition of the rights to manufacture the Johnson & Johnson vaccine locally, Ndlozi appeared to be amongst those in support of acquiring the formula of any vaccine and producing it locally, which is what the ruling party has done.
