Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter to remind the Department of Health about the initially projected January 2021 arrival of the first batch of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) Commissar, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took Twitter on Wednesday, 27 January 2021, to send a reminder to the National Department of Health (NDoH) and its minister, Zweli Mkhize on the initially projected arrival of the first batch of the COVID-19 vaccine. When Mkhize first started discussing the rollout plan, he had projected that by the end of this month, the first batch of the vaccine would have arrived.
At the time, the ruling party had not signed the non-disclosure agreements that is has supposedly signed now. However, since the first update, the matter of the acquisition and rollout of the vaccine has become topical. More so with suggestions from opposing parties, such as the EFF, that the ruling party does not have an actual practical plan.
Ndlozi has now decided to count down to the end of the month, and has challenged Mkhize and the NDoH to deliver on the initial projected date.
See the post below.
It is the 27th today, three days before the end of January. There is still no vaccine in South Africa despite promise by government & minister @DrZweliMkhize that it will be here by January and that the roll out will start in JANUARY!
