Ndlozi rallies behind Palestine amid violent unrest
The EFF’s Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has expressed his support for Palestine in light of the ongoing violent unrest, claiming that Israel is in the wrong.
Commissar of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter on Tuesday, 12 May 2021, to affirm his support for Palestine. Currently, there is violent unrest and attacks between the Palestinians and Israelites. According to reports, rockets were fired from Gaza on Israeli towns.
Amongst those affected was Jerusalem. The state has not publicly condemned the acts, despite mounting calls for South African organisations to speak out against the violence.
Ndlozi, on the other hand, has made it clear that he stands with Palestine, writing, “Palestinians are right. Israel is wrong. There is [no] two ways about it! Full Stop!” The post followed his initial tweet calling for Palestine to be freed. Although Ndlozi has shared his personal standpoint on the violence, the EFF has yet to share a statement on the matter.
