Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter to lambaste Tito Mboweni over his ineffective policies, following the Finance Minister’s nostalgic post on happier times.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Commissar, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter on Friday, 16 April 2021, to lambaste Minister of Finance, Tito Mboweni. The Finance Minister had taken to Twitter to post an image of himself during what he deemed as happier times.
Ndlozi then took to the comments section and suggested that he was happier at the time because he had not assumed the position of Finance Minister yet. Moreover, he claimed that during his tenure, he has implemented ineffective policies. Ndlozi went on to ridicule Mboweni and describe his tenure as “miserable.”
Mboweni’s tenure as the Finance Minister has arguably changed the public’s perception of him, following his stint as the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Governor. His tenure as Finance Minister has been met with hurdles and resistance, especially in light of the policies he implemented during the lockdown.
