Ndlozi enquires about Museveni’s inauguration

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter to enquire about the inauguration of Uganda’s President Museveni, following his recent win at the general elections.

The Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) Commissar, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter on Thursday, 21 January 2021, to enquire about the inauguration of Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. The tweet was shared in light of the inauguration of newly appointed United States President, Joe Biden.

The post was meant to provide comic relief, as Biden and Museveni’s public perceptions are very different Biden taking over from Donald Trump has been welcomed by many. Museveni, on the other hand, is currently being accused of doctoring the election results.

The accusations are based on the fact that on the day of the elections, his strongest competitor, Bobi Wine, was earmarked as the leader contender. However, when the final results were announced the following day, Museveni was revealed as the winner.

The EFF previously pledged its support for Wine, who is reportedly under house arrest with his family, allegedly due to the threat he poses to Museveni’s dominance.
