Ndlozi endorses efforts of protesting Cornwall Hill College learners

Published on

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has publicly endorsed the protest action undertaken by the learners of Cornwall Hill College against its alleged racially discriminatory policies.

The Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) Commissar, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter on Monday, 31 May 2021, to endorse the protest action undertaken by the learners of Cornwall Hill College. The learners captured the country’s interest by showcasing a united front in the protest against the alleged racially discriminatory policies of the school.

Based on pictures shared, the protest action is believed to have been led by learners of colour. However, caucasian learners showed their solidarity with the protest action by also partaking in the protest. While Ndlozi endorsed the strike action and commended the tenacity of the learners, attending the protest or enlisting the EFF to endorse the protest would have been futile.

Member of the Executive Committee (MEC) for Education in Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi was in attendance and endorsed not only the students’ actions, but also took on the responsibility of addressing the alleged racism in the school.
