Ndlozi advocates for reverse engineering of any COVID-19 vaccine
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter to continue advocating for the reverse engineering of the COVID-19 vaccine, after having first suggested it a day earlier.
The Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) Commissar, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter on Monday, 4 January 2021, to continue propagating for the reverse engineering of any of the approved COVID-19 vaccines. The recent tweet comes after the engagement he received on his initial tweet on Sunday, 3 January 2021, when he first made the suggestion.
Ndlozi stated, “We must buy exactly one vaccine; copy it and reproduce it in bulk for ourselves in South Africa. Medical patents during such a deadly pandemic are completely wrong, inhuman and must be rejected by all of humanity! No patent on any vaccine – put lives before profit!”
As a result of the engagement on the aforementioned post, the term “reverse engineering” was then used as a rebuttal to some of the backlash Ndlozi received. Many of those who commented appeared to be arguing against the practicality of the suggestion.

Did you know that ACTUALLY South Africa co-authored a key proposal at WTO calling for a waiver on Covid-19 vaccines?
It is now clear it fell on deaf ears. Let us reverse engineer any Covid vaccine & reproduce it freely for ourselves#SaveLivesBeforeProfit #StopPatentsOnVaccines
