Nasty C shared his certificate of nomination for the 2018 AFRIMA awards on social media on Monday, 8 October 2018.
The nominees for the fifth annual All Africa Music Awards were announced on 29 August 2018. South African rapper Nasty C is one of the front-runners for the ceremony, being nominated in five categories.
On Monday, 8 October, the ‘King’ hitmaker shared his certificate of nomination from the awards body on social media.
“Shout out to the AFRIMA Awards…5 Nominations!”, he wrote on Instagram to caption the post.
Nasty C has been nominated in the following categories:Best Male Artist Southern Africa, Best African collaboration, Artist of the Year, Best African lyricist/rapper and Song of the Year for his collaborated singles, ‘Said’ featuring Runtown, and ‘Particula’ by Major Lazer and DJ Maphorisa, featuring himself, Ice Prince, Patoranking and Jidenna.
The 2018 AFRIMA awards ceremony will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana on Saturday, 24 November.
Nasty C is currently on tour across Southern Africa. His Ivyson Tour kicked off on Saturday, 6 October in Durban and will travel next to Johannesburg for a concert in Melrose Arch.
