Tuesday night’s episodes of Mnakwethu saw past couples returning to the show, where host, Linda Sibiya, delved into the current state of their relationships.
The latest episode of Mzansi Magic’s Mnakwethu, which aired on Tuesday, 7 April 2020, saw host, Linda Sibiya, being joined by a number of returning couples. The couples discussed life after the show, and what their ultimate decision was regarding polygamy. A controversial proposed second wife, Samantha, was put in the hot seat following the outrage she faced on social media. The young woman defended her attitude towards the first wife, and felt that she had said nothing wrong in her episode.
Linda Sibiya, once again, defended the premise of the show, claiming that it is only to showcases the cultural practice of polygamy. Viewers continued to share their disapproval of the series on social media, with Thato Elizabeth stating, “Mnakwethu needs to end now. These disrespectful, self-entitled girls no longer deserve airtime.”

I don't think Samantha understand how isithembu work she has no idea what it all about and it sad she will never understand it cos uk'hlaza nje u girl she has no respect for the first wife and she doesn't see a reason why she must respect her.#Mnakwethu
