The winning numbers for the Mega Millions draw on Friday, 29 June 2018, were:

It is worth noting that the most commonly drawn winning numbers per the Mega Millions results since 1996, remain the same, and are: 17, 31, 2, 39, 4 and 5 – with 29 bubbling under. In contrast, the least drawn number is 67, which has been drawn 2194 times.

Mega Millions Payouts

Like the previous draw, the Mega Millions draw on 29 June 2018 failed to produce a jackpot winner – division one (five correct numbers + mega ball).

There was, however, one notable winner who managed to guess five of the winning numbers, bagging an amount of $1 million (approximately R13,729,200.00). The lucky winner also manage to guess the megaplier, and therefore, to quadruple the winnings to $4 million (R54,916,800.00).

There were also 15 winners who all managed to guess four of the winning numbers and the mega ball, and therefore winning a decent amount of $10,000 (R137,292.00). One of them managed to quadruple  the winnings to $40,000 (R549,168.00).

Meanwhile, at the bottom end of the winnings table, some 439,561 people managed to match just the mega ball, and they won $2 (R27.46) each. Of the 439,561 winners in this category, a lucky 63,026 managed to double their prize money to $8 (R109.83).

The Mega Millions Draw and Jackpot

The last time the Mega Millions winning numbers produced a jackpot winner was on 4 May 2018. The lucky ticket, sold at Fat Daddy’s Road Dog in Dayton, Ohio meant the lucky winner walked off with the entire $142 million (approximately R1.9 billion) jackpot amount – though the actual winnings were less as the winner needed to factor in federal and state-level tax obligations.

As a result of not having had a jackpot winner on Friday, 15 June 2018, the next Mega Millions jackpot increases to an exciting amount of $256 million (R3.5 billion).

The next Mega Millions draw will be on Tuesday, 3 July 2018.
