Malema confirms court date for appeal to unseal CR17 bank statements
Julius Malema took to Twitter to announce the appeal date for the court case to hear whether the CR17 bank statements will be publicised.
Commander-In-Chief (CIC) of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Julius Malema took to Twitter on Monday, 22 February 2021, to provide an update on the court proceedings to have the CR17 bank statements disclosed. This comes shortly after the suggested slight by the presidency when it challenged officials speaking of a co-opted judiciary system to provide proof, which has not been done so far.
Malema’s post suggests that he still believes that some judiciary officials have been co-opted into political wars. Therefore, the belief is that should the bank statements be unsealed, it would reveal that Ramaphosa is allegedly guilty of the same crime. The proof will give credence to the suggestion that Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo is supposedly co-opted, therefore, affirming the suggestions that he has been co-opted into the factional fights of the ruling party.
In his post, Malema revealed that the court proceedings are meant to take place on Tuesday, 16 March 2021, and Wednesday, 17 March 2021. The case is set to be heard at the Pretoria High Court.
See the post below.
