Magashule engages with MKMVA in KZN
The ANC has released a statement on Ace Magashule’s engagement with the MKMVA in KZN, where he also addressed farm murders and the recent Senekal incident.
The African National Congress (ANC), on Wednesday, 14 October 2020, released a statement on its Secretary-General, Ace Magashule’s engagement with the uMkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN). The meeting comes after fellow ANC executive member, Fikile Mbalula, publicly lambasted the association and Magashule and accused them of tender corruption.
The MKMVA is currently fighting for recognition after, according to it, years of service as part of the armed winged of the past liberation movement of the ANC. The plea is one that is supported by Magashule and, following the release of the statement, it seems that the ruling party shares the same sentiments as Magashule.
The statement reiterated his sentiments, stating, “We call on all military formations, both non-statutory and statutory, to work with the Department of Military Veterans to endure their personnel is cleaned up.”
