Magashule documents visit to Zuma’s Nkandla homestead

Published on

Ace Magashule was jubilant in the pictures he shared of his visit to Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla homestead, however, he did not elaborate on the nature of their conversation.

Secretary-General (SG) of the African National Congress (ANC), Ace Magashule took to Twitter on Thursday, 15 April 2021, to share images of his visit to Jacob Zuma’s homestead in Nkandla. Magashule labelled the visit as his second consultation of the day.

Magashule has been embarking on various consultations over the ANC’s Step Aside Policy. When the party announced its recommitment to enforcing the rule, which demands that members of the party that have been implicated in corruption or unethical practice step down, Magashule was the first that came to mind for some.

Therefore, when he visited Zuma, who is also facing his own legal and constitutional woes and a threat of arrest, it was of interest to many what advice was shared between the two. Despite the public’s interest, Magashule has not disclosed what was said during the visit.
