Zuma wanted Mahlodi Muofhe to replace Mxolisi Nxasana as head of the NPA

On Thursday, 31 May 2018 Political Analysis South Africa’s Thando Maeko spoke to Bishop TB Ngcobo from the Nicsa in KwaZulu-Natal.

The National Interfaith Council of South Africa (Nicsa) and other religious organisations will be holding a “welcome back prayer” ceremony for former president, Jacob Zuma in KwaNxamalala, Nkandla. Ngcobo says they are expecting over 2000 people to attend. He adds that the gathering will focus on thanking Zuma for championing radical economic transformation during his tenure as Head of State.

“It’s just based now on welcoming him and thanking God that we had a man of his calibre in KZN and the man who initiated radical economic transformation, “ he said.
