On Tuesday, 22 May 2018 Political Analysis South Africa’s Thando Maeko spoke to Henny Seibeb, who is the Chief Strategist and Deputy Leader of the LPM in Namibia.
The Landless People’s Movement (LPM) is a new political party in Namibia, and aims to bring about change in the country through what the party calls equitable land redistribution. Seibeb says the governing SWAPO has not brought about the promises of independence, and has instead distributed land to politicians and other elites in the country.
“Namibians are now saying we have been quite for to long. We have been giving SWAPO to do as they wish for too long,” he said.
