On Tuesday, 19 June 2018 Political Analysis South Africa spoke to Arnoux Maré, who is the Managing Director at Innovative Staffing Solutions (ISS).
Long distance truck drivers at ISS have suspended their strike which started early this morning, following negotiations between unions and the employer.
Members of the Motor Transport Workers Union (MTWU) signed an agreement which was presented to them by ISS, following talks.
Marie says, he is happy that the strike was averted within a short period. He says, going forward, the company will investigate the issues that the union has brought forward in order to find amicable solutions.
“We will definitely investigate the matter and find a way so that all parties concerned can be happy with the outcomes that we come to,” Marie said.
