Korean celebrities Lee Dong-wook and Suzy are in a relationship. On Friday, 9 March, both their agencies confirmed that the two have recently started dating after meeting each other at a private, casual gathering, but said that the two are in early stages of getting to know each other.
“The two first met and came to know each other at an unofficial occasion and recently developed a romantic relationship,” Starship Entertainment said, adding that “because it’s still the beginning of the relationship and we just learned about it, there’s not much we can say about them dating or being a couple.”
36 years old actor Lee Dong-wook (이동욱) made his acting debut in 1999. He was part of the hit Korean series ‘Goblin.’ His other works include ‘My Girl,’ ‘Scent of a Woman,’ ‘Hotel King,’ and ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.’
23 Years old Suzy (real name Bae Suzy, or 배수지), on the other hand, started her career as part of the disbanded girl group Miss A. She starred in the SBS TV series ‘While You Were Sleeping’ last year and recently dropped a solo album.
The couple managed to overcame the 13-year age gap between them. Back in 2012, Suzy named Lee Dong-wook as her “ideal type”during an appearance on SBS’s ‘Strong Heart.’
Suzy was previously in a two-year relationship with actor Lee Min-ho (이민호), but they went their separate ways last year.
