The latest episode of Mzansi Magic’s Our Perfect Wedding saw couple Xolani and Amanda tie the knot with two perfect ceremonies.
Mzansi Magic’s premier reality wedding series, Our Perfect Wedding, often sees viewers criticize aspects of the wedding parties’ ceremony planning, outfits or décor over social media.
However, the latest episode which aired on Sunday, 21 October, seemingly ticked all the right boxes with audiences, as couple Xolani and Amanda exchanged vows in a traditional and church ceremony.
According to teasers posted on the Mzansi Magic webpage, Xolani and Amanda were introduced by her brother and became engaged in 2014, after Xolani proposed on a beach in Durban.
The couple say that they love everything about each other and although they have had their share of challenges ultimately, they fix things together.
The couple chose to have a simple, but elegant traditional ceremony, incorporating vintage enamel crockery into their décor. Xolani chose his and his groomsmen’s navy-blue tailored suits for the church ceremony, which Amanda complimented him on. Their reception featured a four-tiered lemon, vanilla and red velvet cake.
One viewer summed up the watching experience perfectly, tweeting, “This wedding was proper. Decor, Outfits, Make up and the cake.” Overall, the consensus was that this couple did indeed have themselves a perfect wedding.
Our Perfect Wedding airs on Sundays at 19:00 on Mzansi Magic channel 161.
