The media personality has taken to social media to share her excitement about hosting this weekend’s event, also adding that she started horse-riding in 1997.
Television presenter Lalla Hirayama will host the 2018 Cell C Inanda Africa Cup Polo this weekend, with teams from around the continent competing for the coveted trophy. The event will also be complemented by a fashion exhibition from local designers and A-list celebrities on the red carpet.
Taking to social media, Hirayama has been posting images of herself on horses as a build-up to this weekend’s event.
“I’ve been obsessed with horses since I can remember. I’m really excited for this. Looking forward to a day of fashion, horses and polo! This weekend at the #CellCInandaAfricaCup taking place on the 26th of August @inandaclub, my kind of Sunday! Get your tickets and come join us,” she captioned.
Hirayama has become a household name since starting off as a hip-hop dancer and presenter on eTV’s Craz-e, and then further establishing herself in the industry as a Vuzu TV host before becoming the host of M-Net’s Lalla Land. Hirayama notes that she started horse-riding in 1997 and has previously claimed the title of Junior Horse Riding Champion.
