Koko Matshela is calling for an investigation into the relationship between President Cyril Ramaphosa and Optimum coal mine, following the allegations made by Brian Molefe.
Former Eskom Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Koko Matshela took to Twitter on Tuesday, 16 February 2021, to call on the State Capture Commission to launch an investigation into President Cyril Ramaphosa’s relationship with Optimum coal mine. The call comes on the back of the suggestions that the commission is biased and is supposedly spearheading the smear campaign against former president, Jacob Zuma.
Therefore, Matshela is now calling for an investigation into the president, based on claims that Optimum received an Eskom tender after he became a shareholder. The sentiments were previously shared by former Eskom head, Brian Molefe, but were not fully detailed because the commission had to adjourn because of a COVID-19 contamination scare.
Currently, it is highly unlikely that the commission will investigate the allegations further, based on the reiterated parameters that govern the commission.

My lawyers don't take prisoners & I Salute them.
Whether DCJ likes it or not we will make our point under oath and he is obliged to hear it.
If @CyrilRamaphosa has not been served with a section 3.3 notice by the @StateCaptureCom by now then i have a serious problem with that pic.twitter.com/qMkjtqXoeB
