Cassper Nyovest’s new featured offering on K.O’s single, Waya Waya has sparked an internet dance challenge.
Yesterday, rappers K.O and Cassper Nyovest released the music video for their collaborated single, Waya Waya. The single which was released in June, features Nyovest in the second verse and backing vocals. Nyovest took to social media earlier to announce the release of the video. Naturally, his hordes of fans came out in full support.
However, a spelling error made the rapper seemed to draw more attention from commenters than the nature of the post. Nyovest mistakenly typed, “WayaWaya Music Video our now”, which resulted in a flood of memes and comments. Nevertheless, the single has sparked an internet dance challenge petitioned by Nyovest’s fans. Following the release of the music video fans challenged each other to upload videos of themselves dancing to the song. Nyovest has welcomed the fan engagement and frequently retweets the call to step up to the #WayaWayaChallenge.
The dance challenge clearly comes in response to the current #InMyFeelingsChallenge started by fans of Drake’s new single offering off of the album, Scorpion. Fans and trend watchers world over have posted videos of themselves dancing along to the song.
