The South African Weather Service has predicted a minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 24 degrees Celsius signaling a hot sunny day for the City of Johannesburg.
The temperature should be at 22 degrees Celsius in the morning and will rise to a high 31 degrees in the afternoon. In the evening the temperature will lower to 24 degrees Celsius.
The high temperatures will be accompanied by 10 per cent, 17 per cent and 24 per cent cloud cover in the morning, afternoon and evening respectively. A minimum of 20 per cent and a maximum of 65 per cent humidity is predicted for the day and no rainfall is expected.
The heat will be countered by light breezes throughout the day. In the morning, the City of Johannesburg will receive North-North Easterly winds, travelling at 9km per hour.
In the afternoon, there will be North Westerly winds coming at 13km per hour and North-North Westerly winds travelling at 9km per hour in the evening. Gusts of wind travelling at 17km per hour can be expected during the day and at night.
