52 year-old South Korean actor, Jo Min-ki (조민기), who was under investigation over a string of sexual misconduct allegations, was found dead on Friday, 9 March, in an apparent suicide.
According to police, the veteran actor was found dead at about 4 pm (Korean time), at a private property in eastern Seoul, at an underground parking lot.
The police did not give many details regarding the case, but several key media outlets report the actor is believed to have committed suicide.
Jo Min Ki was scheduled to appear before prosecutors on Monday, 12 March, over allegations he sexually assaulted students at Cheongju University, where he taught acting from 2010 until he was fired earlier this year.
The actor initially denied the claims, but later issued an apology.
