U-Farm Project: A legit opportunity or a scam? Here’s what you need to know

U-Farm Project has not been around long enough or provided enough proof the make the platform seem legitimate and trustworthy.

GameFi platforms like U-Farm usually offer an increase in crypto returns through a earn-as-you-play format.

However, the fact that U-Farm has only been around for a short time and makes so many unverifiable claims, means that the platform is likely not legitimate.

Is U-Farm Project legit?

Blockchain games, or GameFi platforms, have become an increasingly popular way for crypto aficionados to grow their crypto assets online.

If you have recently seen a “Daily Income Opportunity” endorsement for the platform U-Farm (co-ufarm.com) floating around your social media pages, then you will already know that these platforms usually offer the opportunity to generate an income by completing certain game-like tasks.

Unfortunately, U-Farm is one of the younger platforms in this space, which has only been in operation from 29 September 2020 and is still not a registered business in South Africa.

The U-Farm website has not even been online for an entire year, but the platform already claims that it is the “largest Metaverse platform in Africa”.

Making such bold claims, and forcing new users to register before they can verify any of these claims on the platform, are major signs that you should hold off on investing in U-Farm, as the platform is likely not legitimate.

The U-Farm team is unknown

Although U-Farm makes a lot of claims about what the platform can do, it does not give users any information about the team that is behind the project.

This means that you cannot verify whether this team has any previous experience with similar projects, or whether they can be trusted with your investment at all.

U-Farm’s unverifiable claims

U-Farm also makes many other broad claims without providing any real evidence that these claims are true.

U-Farm claims that it is primarily funded by HyperChain Capital, but the platform is not listed in HyperChain Capital’s portfolio.

U-Farm also does not give any tangible examples of the “Real economy” investments that the platform has reportedly achieved “rich returns” with or any of the “local charities” that 50 percent of the platform’s donations will be going to.

What do the U-Farm reviews have to say?

Despite the fact that U-Farm claims to be available many different countries, including the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom, the platform does not have any official social media pages (outside of the various area-specific WhatsApp groups).

This means that reviews for the platform are extremely limited.

Since these types of GameFi platform usually rely on a large pool of users to uphold the platform’s economy, it would typically not make sense to limit public exposure to the platform in this way.
