Investec Property Fund Limited has notified investors of the appointment of Ngoasheng as the Independent Non-Executive Board Chair, as well as the appointments of SEC, NC and IC Chairs.
Investec Property Fund Limited issued a group announcement on Tuesday, 7 September 2021, notifying investors of the appointment of a board chair and changes to the board committee composition. This follows the passing of Board Chair, Sam Hackner.
The group informed that the board appointed Moses Modidima Ngoasheng as the Independent Non-Executive Board Chair, to take effect from Monday, 6 September 2021. Having served for more than nine years, the board confirmed that it conducted an internal independence assessment and is comfortable with his abilities to ensure a seamless transition under the current circumstances.
Connie Mashaba is to assume the role of Social and Ethics Committee Chair, while Ngoasheng will remain a member. Additionally, Philip Hourquebie has been appointed a member of the Nominations Committee with Ngoasheng as chair. Sam Leon, possessing immeasurable property experience, is confirmed to be taking on the role of Investment Committee Chair.
