Zithulele officially quit Maluju Oil while Zakithi’s business savvy proved to be top-notch yet again
Yesterday’s episode of Imbewu: The Seed showed the Bhengu’s take on new challenges and reap the rewards of hard work.
Here is an overview of all that happened:
Ngcolosi called Zakithi to discuss Bra Tiny’s contract agreement. Zakithi became so infuriated with her father’s patronising manner that she hung up the call.
Zithulele officially quit his jib at Maluju Oil. He thanked Bangizwe for setting him free. However, he also had to face the celebrity artists he invited to the Oswenka event.
Nganono stood by Zakithi in her decision. He agreed that Bra Tiny had been overpaid.
Ngcolosi called Nokubonga to discuss Zakithi. She complained about her aching feet. Ngcolosi admitted that Zakithi had been right about Tiny’s contract.
MaNdlovu proposed a match-making scheme to Nokubonga. MaNdlovu planned to set Zakithi up with her future husband and asked Nokubonga to spy on her by continuing their morning jogs.
Nerupa showed Shria the box of condoms she found in Mira’s bag.
Bra Tiny threatened to stop supplying Maluju Oil if Zakithi did not amend his contract.
Ngcolosi called Zakithi to congratulate her for being a stellar Acting CEO.
Nokubonga was deeply upser by Zithulele’s announcement of his resignation.

Technical analysis
This episode was a good show of the characters strengths and weaknesses. Zakithi’s character in particular is becoming more fleshed out and her tenacity shows through as she faces new challenges. The development of the Bhengu family should be an intriguing watch.

Nganono lets Zithulele know that he is there for him. Nirupa confronts Mira and Adam, and becomes convinced they’re having sex. MaZulu uses the morning jog to probe Zakhiti about her love life, and, satisfied that there are no prospects, later plots with MaNdlovu to find a suitable candidate.
Zithulele, energised by his resignation from Maluju, tackles preparations for the Oswenka show which has finally arrived. Zakithi apologises to Shria for hurting her feelings but stands by what she said, leaving Shria disgruntled.
Bra Tiny returns to Zakithi to beg for the contract. Bongi is impressed by Zakhiti but Bangizwe warns that the staff will be targeted next. Msobho leaves home for the show, but collapses on the street.
