Holomisa calls for “real state capturers” to return to Zondo Commission stand

Bantu Holomisa has called for the State Capture Commission to recall the “real state capturers,” in light of the damning allegations made by Lucky Montana about the ANC.

Leader of the United Democratic Movement (UDM), Bantu Holomisa took to Twitter on Monday, 3 May 2021, to call for the State Capture Commission to recall the ANC leadership to the stand. Holomisa made the request in light of the damning allegations levelled against the African National Congress (ANC) by former Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) boss, Lucky Montana.

Montana returned to the commission on Monday, following the two-day testimony by President Cyril Ramaphosa last week. Montana poked multiple holes in Ramaphosa’s testimony, which attempted to suggest that the ruling party is not corrupt, but rather, has corrupt figures that he is looking to uproot. Montana rubbished the suggestions during his testimony by alleging that the entire political party is corrupt.

To corroborate his sentiments, he alleged that the biggest political events hosted by the ruling party were improperly funded by public funds. Montana has asked for time to work on a detailed affidavit to support his claims. In the meantime, Holomisa has called for the commission to recall the ANC leadership.
