Heavy K to perform on Mzansi Magic’s Homeground tonight

Minnie Dlamini Jones and Lungile Radu will interview record breaking athlete Akani Simbine, and producer Heavy K on Homeground on Monday, 15 October 2018.

Television personality Minnie Dlamini Jones took to Twitter on Monday, 15 October, to announce her excitement at the upcoming interviewee line-up on her host show, Mzansi Magic’s Homeground.

Dlamini Jones hosts the ‘lifestyle-meets-sports’ talk show alongside Lungile Radu.

The show, now in its second season, includes live celebrity interviews and up-to-the-minute sporting highlights from the week.

“We have our amazing record breaker Akani Simbine and an amazing performance by Heavy K Drumboss on the Homeground tonight. We’re Live at 21:30pm on Mzansi Magic Channel 161 simulcast on Super Sport TV… see you later,” Dlamini Jones announced over social media.

Akani Simbine is the first South African male to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games for the 100m. In April 2018, he completed the race in an impressive 10.3 seconds, subsequently beating former world champion, Jamaican Yohan Blake.

Heavy K is the mastermind behind club-hits ‘Inde’ and ‘Umoya’.

He has just recently released his fourth studio album, Respect The Drumboss 2018.
